Dr. Julia Bucci recently decided not to accept the appointment as Dean of Academics for Idyllwild Arts Academy. Last month, the school announced that Bucci would be the new dean replacing Anna-Karin Li.

Although she did visit Idyllwild and campus, she has decided to remain at the Dana Hall School in Wellesley, Mass.

“I decided not to accept the position after all, for personal reasons,” she stated in an email last week.

Idyllwild Arts has re-opened the recruitment process.
