Askim educates Idyllwild audience on contemporary classical music

Conductor and Composer in Residence of Idyllwild Arts, Peter Askim, speaks at the ICRC speakers series on Wednesday evening at the Quiet Creek Gallery. As he gave his talk, “What’s New? The Latest, Greatest, Up-To-Date in Contemporary Classical Music,” he played examples of the music. The event was co-sponsored by the Associates of Idyllwild Arts Foundation.

World Book Night reaches Idyllwild

Millions of free books were hand-delivered to unsuspecting individuals on Monday, April 23, around the U.S., U.K. and Ireland as part of World Book Night 2012 — “Spreading the love of reading, person to person” — including in Idyllwild.
