The “Center of Idyllwild” mural on the side of The Fort facing Highway 243 has been restored to its original beauty under the direction of the Art Alliance of Idyllwild (AAI). According to AAI representatives, the mural had not had any restoration work since it was built in 1992. Town Hall’s first “Parent’s Date Night” in which parents could drop off their children and have a date night in town was a resounding success as 58 youngsters were dropped off to the care of staff on Friday. Oct. 21.
Idyllwild Arts welcomes the Vientos Trio for an evening of chamber music at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28 in Stephens Recital Hall on the Idyllwild Arts campus. The Vientos Trio, is a woodwind ensemble. Its members are Dr. Jennifer Stevenson, clarinet, Michael Kreiner, bassoon, and Ryan Zwahlen, oboe.
“The Company” of the Idyllwild Arts Theatre Department opened and closed its Musical Theatre Fall Cabaret with a hearty rendition of “Another Op’nin’, Another Show” and in between students performed 16 songs to a standing-room-only audience at Rush Hall on Sunday, Oct. 16.
