Around 10 a.m. Saturday, May 4, three cars were involved in collisions at Paradise Corners, the junction of highways 371 and 74. The crashes injured two people, one who had to be transported by helicopter and another by ambulance. The incident is still being investigated according to CHP Information Officer Darren Meyer, but appears to have been caused by one motorist making a left turn directly in front of another. The third vehicle rear-ended the second vehicle.
