According to CHP Officer Chris Blondon, Friday afternoon about 5 p.m., Timothy Jay Lund, 19, of Hemet was traveling southbound on Highway 243 near Mile Marker 0.25 when he lost control flipping his Mercedes-Benz 560 SEL, landing on it’s roof tossing beer cans and other debris onto the highway. Three passengers were also in the vehicle. The 17-year-old female was transported to a nearby hospital complaining of neck pain.
