I love homemade pretzels. I put in my order for 10 at Honey Bunns and Joe, figuring I could make it back up the Hill before they closed at 3 p.m. However, being a school teacher for Hemet Unified School District, my after school efforts to help just a few more students delayed me in getting home. I was so upset that my heavenly treats would be locked in the closed bakery, and would no longer be fresh when I could get them. I was stunned when I arrived home and found my precious two boxes of pretzels, still warm, on my porch steps. I was touched by their caring spirit. Only in Idyllwild.
