A free concert on a beautiful Sunday night — now, that’s a party!
As a retailer, I’ve seen a lot of “still life” Septembers on this mountain. But organizers kept the tourists, as well as the locals, entertained on a normally docile Sunday evening.
Casey was a perfect “local boy makes good” with his talent and acccomodated all autograph seekers. The funds raised went to a worthy cause.
Also, Café Aroma proved to be an obliging host by providing other restaurants with late-staying tourists (Aroma did not serve regular food to this huge gathering).
Casey and those involved in putting on his homecoming celebration created a fun day to end the summer of 2011.
