ARF orphans’ wish list: a warm bed to call my own, plentiful food in my bowl, a kind human touch to my fur, the leash, treats, and most of all, that special car ride to my new forever home.
Four paws up to Duke, the chow chow, for having his Thanksgiving wish come true.
Michelle, our feral tux will see her Thanksgiving at a new home, too. Thank you to her patient and loving angel.
And many purrs to Granite the cat. We know you will be thankful for your new home with an angel that has always loved you.
ReilyReily’s bags are packed, bones included, and she is ready to go. A true hikers dream, Reily has great energy on the trail, and on a leash. Hide and seek is her favorite game whether it’s a rock or her favorite toy. Reily’s focus comes naturally, and everything else she learns is just gravy. In the bowl, that is.
BlackjackAll dressed up in his tux, Blackjack is a young male tuxedo. Calm, house trained, and good with other felines, and canines. Blackjack still has a little kitty in him when it comes to playtime, and enough maturity to know the rules.
LeonardLeonardo is almost 2 years old. Always open to new friendships, Leonardo will bravely welcome any four-legged that walks thru the door, be it canine, or feline. He knows no enemies, as he makes sure all the new orphans at ARF are accepted and safe. A sleek short haired grey, Leonardo, along with his siblings, lost his mom shortly after birth. One by one, his brothers were all adopted. He chose to pass it on, as Mr. Mom to Dawn and Dusk, who also lost their mom and were living under a house. Leonard is a one of a kind furry friend who is at his best consoling and loving other cats and dogs.
And just in time for Christmas: we have kittens!

Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” ARF cats mused about the current challenges facing everyone. Bear: You know it has been quiet here, but it seems even more quiet than usual. Lulu: Most likely this is because the kittens have all gone to their forever homes. Whiskers: That is very good news,…
Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” the cats discussed their finer qualities. Bobbie: Well, that didn’t last long. Audrey: What didn’t last long? Bobbie: Not what, who. Patrick. He has a forever home already! Audrey: Wow. That was fast. But I hear his place in the cattery has been filled, six-times over! Bobbie: …
Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” the cats and dogs met the new ARF kittens. Crue: Today I, an ARF canine, will share some ARF cat news! Jet: Oh, Crue, let me! Let me! Everyone, three of the kittens have found forever homes! Crue: That’s right! Amy, Ruby and Opie have forever families…

Last week in “The Days of Our Nine Lives,” Jake from State Farm was getting to know the feline members of ARF. Jake: Hey! Guess what I just heard! We have another ARF dog, and I’m so glad. I was feeling pretty outnumbered. London: So, what’s the 411 on this one? Jake: Aw, he’s just…
