The Coachella Valley Repertory is beginng auditions for its production of the Woolgatherer by William Mastrosimone. The repertory is seeking a 25- to 35-year-old women to portray the nervous and flighty Rose, and a 35- to 40-year-old man to portray Cliff, a hard working, hard drinking truck driver.

The auditions will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11 at the Coachella Valley Repertory Theatre at the Atrium in Rancho Mirage, 69-930 Haighway 111, Suite 116. The production is schedule to open Jan. 25, 2012. The Woolgatherer is a two act play, set entirely in a small apartment in south Philadelphia and centers around Rose and Cliff, two half-crazy people searching for love.
