Linda Lucille Martin-Carr
We celebrate the life of Linda Lucille Martin-Carr. She was loved as a mother, grandmother, friend, sister, aunt, and part of her community. Linda will be remembered for her sense of humor, her never ending generosity toward those she loved, and, above all, for creating a family whose love, laughter and generosity are such a part of Idyllwild.

We will miss her ability to laugh at the absurd and we have one less source for a great book to read. Yet despite the tears, we take comfort in the faith that she is with love.

“Sail on Silver Girl,
Sail on by
Your time has come to shine
All your dreams are on their way”
-Paul Simon, “Bridge Over Troubled Water”

Born June 28, 1939, she passed away Oct. 17, 2011, in the comfort of her home, while in the arms of her daughter. Family and close friends held a private service on Nov. 4, amidst the first snow of the season. Thank you for all your years, Linda Martin.
