Howard A. Kay, 59, of Pine Cove, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2001, at Mercy Hospital in Folsom, Calif.

Mr. Kay was born Dec. 29, 1941, in Los Angeles.

He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy, and had worked for 35 years as a sales manager for W.G.K. Inc. in Orange County.

In Idyllwild, Mr. Kay was a member of American Legion Post 800 and was current president of the Pine Cove Property Owners Association.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5 at the Riverside National Cemetery, Staging Area No. 5, in Riverside. Roni Caplan of Idyllwild officiated at the services. Miller-Jones Mortuary handled arrangements.

Mr. Kay was survived by two daughters, Shiela Marja Lisa Kay and Annika Eve Sonja Kay, both of Fullerton; and a son, Bryan Kay of California.
