Boo! Now you see me; now you don’t. What a week it’s been with Boo, the Chiweenie and his tricks. He’s safe and at home now. Kona, and Titan have been reunited once again with their human. Looks like Amadeus, the German shepherd wagged his tail right into the hearts of his new family. Paws up to you.
BentleyBentley is a young, male American Staffordshire. He is a fan of playtime, belly rubs and treats, too, of course. Good with other dogs and humans. Bentley has learned basic commands.
LuluAnd Lulu is back! A young lab/shep mix, she is good on the leash, learns commands quickly, and likes the canine crowd. Lulu prefers not to share her kingdom with felines. She was abandoned by her owner and is certain that another energetic, Frisbee throwing family will walk thru our doors and say “Let’s go home, Lulu.”
ReilyReily’s bags are packed, bones included, and she is ready to go. A true hikers dream, Reily has great energy on the trail, and on a leash. Hide and seek is her favorite game whether it’s a rock or her favorite toy. Reily’s focus comes naturally, and everything else she learns is just gravy. In the bowl, that is.
Mrs. MaguMrs. Magu is a beautiful 3-year old. She loves kids and is okay with other cats and dogs. Her family moved and could not take her with them, leaving her wondering why she was left behind. She so misses having a home and being part of someone’s life. It would be her distinct pleasure to be part of yours. She doesn’t think that’s asking too much in return for all the love she has to give.

Last week in Days of Our Nine Lives, the ARF cats discussed their wishes for the new year. George: Hey Sadie, what’s wrong with you? You look a little down. Sadie: Guess I’m missing Olivia and Leia. It’s not the same here without them. Bobbie: I wonder if they are missing us. …
Last week in “Days of Our Nine Lives,” the senior cats boasted their positive qualities. Sparky: Wow. It was very quiet this last weekend. Bear: Surprising, considering it was a holiday weekend. Sparky: I was all groomed and ready to meet my forever family. Bear: Sorry, Sparky. Sometimes we are so slow here on a…
Reunited this week was young Diego in Idyllwild, and a springer spaniel camping in Pine Cove. Found Thursday evening on Highway 243 by Idyllwild Pines Camp: A large neutered male shepherd mix. Please call ARF to identify. Without a tag or a chip your pet has no name, and no home. Please show the…
By Mimi and Hootch Every morning, she would be there to greet you in the kitchen at the ARF house. Not a vocal cat, but her eyes said it all. She sat very calmly, sometimes nestled in a basket on the counter, just observing with a sleepy grin. Marlena became known as “kitchen cat,” and…
Last week in “The Days of Our Nine Lives,” ARF cats were talking about how to convince humans that adult cats are just as great as kittens. Peppermint Patty: Attention! Attention! I am now the only kitten in this cattery! Bill: Have you forgotten about little Lucy? Peppermint Patty: No, I haven’t, Bill. It’s just…
All four paws up and a big meow to the last two kittens. Rhett and Gatsby, stepbrothers, were adopted together forever. Yea! Mr. Grey has spent the last month wishing his best buddy Tommy was still around. It took him awhile but he’s coming around. And he wonders if you have a friendly cat that…
