Town Hall Sports Coordinator Jeremy Teeguarden reported on Town Hall Youth volleyball for the week of April 9.

The first ever Town Hall youth co-ed volleyball game was played Friday night, April 13. Playing volleyball, other than for Idyllwild School, is a new opportunity for the kids on the Hill.

The league is for kids in grades 2 through 5. In its initial season, there was a lot of interest. Enough kids have signed up to fill four teams. The kids have been practicing for the past couple of weeks and are excited about playing a new sport.

The first game was between the Tee’s Tiger Sharks and the CVC Contractors Hot Shots. Both teams played great for the entire match. There were some nice rallies and the kids did awesome serving and bumping the ball over the net.

Pierce Pramuka and Shelby Read had nice bumps to win points for the Tiger Sharks.
