The Bee Fire was reported about 8:40 p.m., Thursday night, July 26. The was in the Bee Canyon area east of the Cranston Station.
The San Jacinto Ranger District and CAL Fire Riverside Unit sent a full response. Originally, the fire’s size was estimated to be about 20 to 25 acres
On Friday morning, based GPS mapping, the fire size was reduced to 10 acres.
US Forest Service Law Enforcement is handling the investigation and has not released a cause.
