We had several “thunder runners” as they are called, reunited with their worried owners last week. Chips make a difference between immediate connection with you or a long overnight concern of where your dog is, and if he is safe. Please call ARF to sign up for the Chip-A-Thon, (951) 659-1122.
Adopted: Both burrito babies! Abandoned in Anza, and left to fend for themselves, these young sisters are safe in the arms of humans that will never, ever leave them. Elsie was adopted with Chip our teacup Chihuahua, and Tawny found love in the arms of her human that will cherish her to the end. Paws up to you both.
Bo Peep is 11 weeks old, very playful, good with all other cats and has no fear. Even as small as she is, she will leap to your shoulders to cuddle and purr. Pepper is 4 months old, and ready to see the world. She is good with all four-leggeds, very playful, and looking for an energetic home.
Twiggy looks every day from the safety of her cat tree for just that perfect person. The one who will love her unconditionally as she purrs in your lap. She is 6 years old, declawed, and prefers to be the only four-legged in the house. Her human is gone, but Twiggy knows there has to be someone who will love her as he did. Favorite places to be: looking out the window, of course, as the birds fly by, eating anything that smells fishy, and in your lap.
Tammy is a young min/pin mix, docked tail, and about 3 to 4 years old. She is good with other dogs, friendly, and good on the leash. Lost and forgotten, she made her way to the ARF angels to find a new, safe home. Tammy is available for adoption.
ARF has many cats and dogs available for adoption or fostering. Go to www.arfidyllwild.weebly.com and click on Petfinder. All pets are spayed, neutered, and current on shots. ARF is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sundays. Call (951) 659-1122 or email [email protected] for appointment on any other day.
Creature corner is sponsored this week by Janice Murasko in memory of Rascal, 1997-2012, brave and beautiful, wise and loving. To sponsor the column, call Shane Fender at the Town Crier, 659-2145.
