The ARF staff and all of the four-leggeds wish our loyal community, friends, and visitors a Happy Thanksgiving.
Reunited this week after taking a little stroll were Charlie and Bobby.
Home for the holidays and staying warm in their very own beds is on every ARF animal’s wish list. This week, dreams came true for several felines. Monty, Haley, and two of the Stitches Gang kittens, Lola and Friday are thankful. Bosley, our senior doxie has the promise that he will never be abandoned again, and Hollyberry, our shepherd-mix puppy wiggled her way right into her foster’s heart.
If given half a chance, Guido will fit right into your life. He is a 2-year-old Papillion–long-haired Chihuahua mix with eyes that match his coat. Days are simple for him. He loves to walk yet he is comfortable just lying by your chair. Not a barker or digger, he is friendly with the feline crowd and other four-legged canines. A few after-dinner treats, and then he’s off to bed. A simple devoted handsome companion. Hurry, he’ll be gone soon.
Betty has thanked us every day for saving her from the animal hoarder. Locked away alone in an outdoor pen lined with dirt, Betty’s tail perked up and wagged as soon as she saw us. She is a walker’s dream, good with all other canines and doesn’t mind the feline crowd. She loves her sweaters, and is a proud Lab-brindle mix. Don’t let her breed stand in your way of loving Betty. She has no idea what she is. She just knows how to please, and loves treats of course.
Pepper and her kittens are thankful they are safe in the ARF house. Ready for a new home, each would be a great addition to a loving family.
