Despite warnings from flatlanders, the Hill is beautiful this morning. And the roads are fine. Unfortunately, last night there were problems, even before most of the snow fell. Jenny Krichner got this photo of an accident about 5:30 p.m. Feb. 19.

Jenny wrote, "The icy roads with weather getting worse caused dangerous driving conditions. A female driver lost control of her Toyota SUV slamming head on into a tree at approximately 5:30pm on Tuesday afternoon. The crash took place on Highway 243 near South Circle Dr. in front of the Strawberry Creek Inn. Idyllwild Fire worked on disabling the battery to the vehicle to extinguish the threat of a fire. The driver was transported by ground to a nearby hospital by Idyllwild Fire."
