Jim Crandall, Palms to Pines Golf Association handicap chair, provided this report about the Friday, Feb. 15, golf tournament.

The club held its regular monthly tournament at the Cross Creek Golf Club in Temecula. The day was sunny and clear, and the course was tough, with fast, undulating greens.

Mike Feyder (course handicap 22), took first place with a net 71, Les Widerynski (15) took second with a net 75, Bruce Marley (11) took third with a net 76, Dale Calderon (39) took fourth with a net 77, and Bill Ragland (14) took fifth with a net 80.

In the closest-to-the-pin contests, Calderon won on hole 3, Feyder won on hole 8 and Marley won on hole 19. There was no winner on the 125-yard 12th hole since no one managed to land his ball on the green.
