When we woke up this morning, there was about 4 inches of snow. since then another two have fallen.
The main roads are cleared and many of the secondary are already plowed too.
The National Weather Service's short forecast for today was posted about
"through 1130 am...light rain and snow showers will continue moving east across the mountains...but increasing in coverage and intensity. rainfall amounts of up to 0.25 inches are expected below 5000 feet...with with snow accumulations of around an inch above 5000 feet possible" But NWS is still forecasting another six to 10 inches today.
But Sunday's forecast is sunny and temperatures in the 60s, next week perhaps in the 70s.
