Town Hall Sports Coordinator Jeremy Teeguarden reported on Town Hall Adult Volleyball for the weeks of Feb. 25 and March 4.

Two games were played during the last week of February. The first match was between the Red Kettle and Idyllwild Garage. The Red Kettle played great in the first game as Matt McDonald set up his teammates with a lot of skill and they won the first game of the match. After regrouping, the Garage won the next three games and the match (23-25, 25-19, 25-19 and 25-20).

On Tuesday, Feb. 26, the week’s second match was between Idyllwild Inn and Idyllwild Chevron. Idyllwild Inn took control of the match early as Dawn Sonnier played well setting her teammates. The Inn won the match in three games (25-19, 25-14 and 25-23).

Last week’s games kicked off with Forest Lumber playing Idyllwild Garage. The Garage jumped out to a good start as Maria Loutzinhiser played great. The Garage won the match in three games (25-14, 25-15 and 25-22).

On Tuesday, March 5, the Red Kettle and Idyllwild Inn met. Paula Shirley played great as the setter. The Inn took an early lead and won the match in four games (25-15, 25-17, 19-25 and 25-16).

Thursday’s match was between Silver Pines Lodge and Idyllwild Chevron. Tammy Fogle played great for Silver Pines as they protected their undefeated season. Chevron fought hard but came up short. Silver Pines won in four games (25-22, 21-25, 25-15 and 25-22).

On Saturday March 9, six games were played.

Silver Pines defeated Idyllwild Inn 3-0 (25-23, 25-21, 25-20).

Forest Lumber beat Red Kettle 3-0 (25-14, 27-25, 25-7).

Idyllwild Garage bested Idyllwild Chevron and needed five games to win the match (25-19, 22-25, 25-22, 19-25 and 15-12).

Idyllwild Garage then beat Idyllwild Inn 3-0 (25-13, 25-17, 25-22).

Silver Pines won again over Red Kettle 3-0 (25-10, 25-17 and 25-16).

Idyllwild Chevron defeated Forest Lumber in five games (23-25, 25-22, 25-12, 15-25, 15-11).

Silver Pines completed a perfect regular season going 15-0 to earn the first seed. They played fourth-seeded Idyllwild Chevron Tuesday night, March 12.

Two-time defending champions Idyllwild Garage is the second seed and met third-seeded Idyllwild Inn on Monday night, March 11.

The winners will play the championship game 7 p.m., Thursday night, March 14.
