Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, dear Charlie, happy birthday to you. Charlie celebrated his very first birthday June 1. He is a male Jack Russell-mix in love with life. And life to Charlie is all about playtime, walks and toys. Charlie had only one birthday wish: To have his very own bed, humans he could call his own, and a forever and ever home. He is such a good boy and cannot figure out why he is still alone. He’s a small package, doesn’t eat much and never barks. Maybe he’s part Basenji. Charlie knows someone out there needs him as much as he needs them.

Adopted this week were the two black kittens from the newest spring litter. They will have a loving fun home with the ARF cat Valentino. That leaves five gray kittens. They are 8 weeks old, three males and two females: Tippycanoe, Tyler II, Tutti Frutti, Teddy Bear and T. Rex. Come in to ARF and get your kitty love!

And off to his forever home after a short stay is Cosmo, the male tux. Even though he has special needs, his new forever human is the best of the best. A heartfelt thank you.
