ARF’s Search and Rescue team members earned their badges this week. Reunited were Lilly, Daisy, Dudley, Anikia, Ochorra, Bruno and Cece. Four paws up to you, as you have become such a needed community addition.
Ladybug is on to a new adventure with her forever human, and the diva of the cattery, Jezabelle, will be loved and safe for the rest of her life.
With the diva spot vacant, Miss Sunkist decided she was the appropriate choice. Those green eyes will catch your attention as she sounds her best purr, asking you to pet that gorgeous red fur. Sunny has the best coat of the cattery, with enough fur to keep all the cats warm. She will be the first to greet you, and is still very close to her last available kitten, Boomer, who matches her in color.
Boomer gives a high five to the camera, loving attention as much as his mom. He is a young teen and continues to keep the cattery lively, playful and full of laughs. He is great with other felines, actually very inquisitive of the canine crowd, and loves to investigate any room other than the cattery.
Tommy, Whiskers and Lachi enjoy the outdoor cattery. This is Tommy’s fav hangout, Whiskers enjoys a quiet nap and Lachi is very playful.
We have several cats who have already chosen their best fur buddy to be adopted with. Sadie and Carly, the tux identical twins, would love to be together forever. Pepper, a young black-and-white female, can often be seen cuddled closely with Tommy, our large gray tabby. Their favorite past time is in the outdoor cattery keeping up with all creatures that fly.
ARF has many cats and dogs available for adoption or fostering. Go to www.arfidyllwild.weebly.com and click on Petfinder. All pets are spayed, neutered and current on shots. ARF is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays.
Creature corner is sponsored by Lorna & Alex Zukas to help ARF find good homes for all the animals this week. To sponsor the column, call Lisa Streeter at the Town Crier, 951-659-2145.
