Special programs for teens:

A special event for teens this coming Saturday, June 28, at 2 p.m.:  Interested in free job training? Want to learn new job skills and good work habits? How would you like some fine letters of recommendation from local nonprofit organizations? Become a volunteer. Teen summer volunteers are needed for our local nonprofit organizations. You can help your community and your own career chances at the same time. Come by and learn how.

The library kicks off its teen Wild Side Film Series on Wednesday, June 25 at 3 p.m. with “Life of Pi.” Further films will be “Rascal” on July 2, “Eragon” on July 9 and “Epic” on July 16, all at 3 p.m. Read the book, watch the movie, eat our popcorn. Fun.
