We are full-time residents of Idyllwild and have taken pride in our mountain and our property.

We planted a Dwarf Fat Albert out by our driveway that cost us over $200, and then another $50 to plant and have nurtured it for two years.

Last Wednesday, we went out and found that it had been cut down at the base. Obviously, someone had stolen it for their Christmas tree. It was just so upsetting for us since right after we moved in we planted it and nurtured it through its initial first year and drought conditions. It had grown a foot in height and had really filled out. So sad to see it stolen.
