Town Hall Recreation Director Bob Lewis gave this report on recent Adult Coed Softball games.
On Monday, July 31, Ajax beat Idyllwild Arts 12-4.
The next night, Idyllwild Arts lost to Creekstone 16-11.
On Wednesday, Aug. 2, Patty Perez beat Forest Lumber 12-7. The next night, Ajax beat Forest Lumber 14-5
On Friday, Creekstone beat Patty Perez 10-9.

On Saturday Oct. 15, two Minor League games were played. The first game was between the Idyllwild Heating and Cooling Bobcats and the American Legion Hurricanes. The game was fast-paced as both teams went up and down the field. Colby Sonnier scored two nice goals for the Bobcats as did Rene Montoya for the Hurricanes.
The second game pitted the Café Aroma Galaxy and the La Casita Ravens. The Galaxy played tough defense as Julia Wangler fought off the Ravens’ attack over and over. The Ravens’ Elie Manchester played a great game while hustling around the field.
Brendan Steele played again last weekend, making his fourth cut in as many tournaments this very early 2015 PGA Tour season. The Idyllwild native now has made eight consecutive cuts in tour events, counting the end of last season. On Friday, April 3 the Soboba Foundation and Soboba Casino holds its third-annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Soboba Springs Country Club.
