Laveda “Lee” Ralstin, 102, died Monday, March 5, 2018.

Born in Sulphur, Oklahoma, she made the journey to California with her father and eight siblings.

In her long lifetime, she saw the country go from horse and buggy to electric cars, from “snail mail” to email, airplanes to spaceships. Mother to Robert and James Myers, she worked at North American Aviation.

Lee was preceded in death by her son Robert, and her husband Lafe Ralstin.

Lee’s roots were firmly planted on “The Mountain,” having lived here for 56 years.

The family would like to invite you, her Idyllwild community, to join us in celebrating her life with a party at Fratello’s from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, April 6. Grandma loved their pizza and pasta, so help us raise a glass of wine, eat some great Italian food, and tell stories about this fabulous woman who has been so special to all of us.
