Mountain Biking

Josh White gave this report on the Idyllwild Middle School Mountain Bike Team:

On Saturday, April 7, two of the Idyllwild Middle School Mountain Bike Team members raced in Keysville at Cruise the Keys. This was the third race of the season for the team.

Unfortunately, due to a poor weather, the race had been rescheduled from its original date in March. This resulted in lower attendance. Only two  of the school’s six racers — Jakob Parsons and Seth White —were able to ride.

Both racers improved in their standings from their previous race. Jakob moved up two spots to finish 11th in a field of 30 racers. Seth moved up four spots to finish 24th in a field of 38 racers.

The team’s next race, Victory at Vail, was April 14 at Vail Lake.  Results were not available.
