I appreciate your “Fake news, American institutions and the presidency” editorial.
As the Republicans bring our democracy to its knees, it seems like we are fighting our Revolutionary War all over again; against (wanna be) King Trump and his klan.
I’m sure many will “disagree” with me, but the tyranny is obvious. Those who see through the con and and see our future with Trump will understand John Adam’s words from long ago:
“Liberty, once lost, is lost forever.”
“When legislature is corrupted, the people are undone.”
“Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts and murders itself. There was never a democracy that did not commit suicide.”
Those that vote for Trump/Putin will be pulling the trigger on all of us.
