On Thursday, in the 4- to 6-year-old division, the Woodland Warriors (in green) battle the Knights (wearing purple).

Town Hall Sports Coordinator Michael Holato gave this report on Youth Soccer. Below are the scores, standings and players of the game for Youth Soccer.

Ages 4-6

Noah Reeves scored the only goal in the Idyllwild Shell Knights game against Village Market Wiggle Worms. Audrey Roman played a great game for the Knights, and Wiggle Worms’ Joy Holldber and Quinlynn Carpenter were the stars for their team.

Idyllwild Garage Yellow Jackets and the Ferro Woodland Warriors played outstanding defense in their game.  Augie Titus of the Yellow Jackets and Scarlett Nowlin of the Woodland Warriors were the stars in their game. 

Idyllwild Garage Yellow Jackets and Village Market Wiggle Worms played great defense in their game.  Jacqueline Lopez had an outstanding game for the Yellow Jackets as did Olivia Mejia for the Wiggle Worms.

Idyllwild Shell Knights Charlotte Taylor scored the only goal of the game against Ferro Woodland Warriors.

Ages 7-9

Forest Realty Idyllwild Stars defeated Patty Perez Rockets 1-0 behind Indigo Dagnall’s goal.

Crazy Train Pub & Grill Galaxy defeated the American Legion Tornadoes in another close game 1-0. Goals from Galaxy’s Jackson Taylor and defense from Luke and Hailey led the Galaxy to a 3-0 win over Patty Perez Rockets.

Kaylee Gage and Lucy Newman were the stars for the Rockets. Indigo scored another goal for the Idyllwild Stars in their 3-0 victory over the American Legion Tornadoes. Micah McCaughey played well for the Tornadoes.

Ages 10-14

After a scoreless first half, Muirs Mountain Green Hornets scored goals from Cody Fogle, Revin Muir and Finn Carpenter for a 3-0 lead.

Christofer Cerritos of Idyllwild Brew Pub Blue Stars scored a goal late in the game in their 3-1 loss.  Muirs Mountain Green Hornets Seth White scored a goal for a 1-0 lead.

Idyllwild Blue Stars then scored a goal each from Christofer and Oliver Gonzalez for a 3-1 victory.  The outstanding play of the game was the save made by Blue Stars goalie Hunter Nunez on a breakaway.
