Division 1 (ages 6-9)
Tuesday’s games were canceled due to inclement weather.
Friday, Feb. 8, had the Idyology Celtics playing the Village Market Clippers in the first game. This was an exciting game from start to finish with several lead changes. Wyatt Like had a good game for the Celtics with his defense and rebounding. However, Andrea Lopez had the hot hand for the Clippers with 8 points as the Clippers held on for a 21-19 win over the Celtics.
In the second game, the American Legion Lakers battled the Idyllwild Pizza Co. Raptors. Johnny Aronson played well with his dribbling and hustle. Halayiah Nuez played good defense and rebounded for the Raptors as they beat the Lakers 26-14.

Division 2 (ages 10-13)
On Monday, Feb. 4, the Fairway Market Rockets hosted the Acumen Tree Service Warriors. Anthony Bilecky had a good game for the Warriors scoring 4 points. Gus Peterson had a good game for the Rockets with good rebounding and defense as the Rockets downed the Warriors 22-16.
In the second game, Higher Grounds Coffee House Lakers played the Idyology Kings. Aaron Hyland played well for the Kings making a free throw and defended well against the Lakers. Logan Wilkerson played a good game for the Lakers with his defense and made many good passes to his teammates as the Lakers beat the Kings 25-11.
On Thursday, Feb. 7, the Fairway Market Rockets hosted the Idyology Kings. Maison Sanchez played good for the Kings with his hustle, but Tyler Sonnier made a 3-pointer as the Rockets beat the Kings 28-18.
The second game had the Acumen Tree Service against the Higher Grounds Coffee House Lakers. The score went back and forth all game, and came down to the wire. Indigo Dagnall had a great game for the Lakers with 4 points, but the Warriors countered back with a good game from Dominique Esparza grabbing many rebounds as the Warriors squeeked by the Lakers 20-19.
Friday, Feb. 8, saw the Idyology Kings playing the Higher Grounds Coffee House Lakers. This game was also very close as Salvador Solorio played great defense and hustled throughout the game for the Lakers. Kail Mock had a bucket and played an overall very good game for the Kings, but came up a little short losing to the Lakers 26-25.
The second game had the Fairway Market Rockets against the Acumen Tree Service Warriors. Tara Geisinger had her best game of the year scoring 7 points for the Rockets. Tony Solorio had a very good game for the Warriors scoring a bucket and playing tenacious defense, but it wasn’t quite enough as the Rockets beat the Warriors 23-20.

Games
Saturdays playoffs completed the 2018-19 Idyllwild Town Hall Coed Volleyball Season.
• In the first match, Silver Pines defeated Pino Tree Service 25-19, 25-11 and 25-10.
• Silver Pines advanced to the next level and faced eventual champion Wilson Woodworking.
• Wilson Woodworking defeated Silver Pines in a close and exciting match 24-26, 25-18, 26-24 and 26-24 to reach the championship game.
•Idyllwild Brewpub and Idyllwild Garage faced of in the next match with the winner moving on to face Wilson Woodworking in the championship game.
• Idyllwild Brewpub defeated Idyllwild Garage in another close and exciting match 25-21, 24-26, 25-18 and 26-24.
• Wilson Woodworking defeated Idyllwild Brewpub in the championship game 25-18, 25-15 and 25-17 to win their first ever championship.
Congratulations to Wilson Woodworking and also to all the teams for a fun, exciting and successful volleyball season.
