Great news! The Idyllwild Town Crier has completed some major upgrades to our web servers. After a recent hack attempt, we took steps to more proactively protect ourselves from future attacks. We also took the opportunity to migrate our more than 15 years of online presence and archives to more robust web hosting.
Members should see a significant increase in both the page loading and PDF download speeds going forward with no future impact as more members read the Town Crier online.
We thank you for your patience over the past 36 hours while we completed this upgrade and migration. With more members coming on board weekly, this was a strategic upgrade needed to handle a higher volume of page requests and bandwidth.
