Readers Write: Former President Donald Trump

Dear editor:
Common sense tells me that we should value our democracy, not so much the party, as I have voted for a Republican president and Democrat.
I have split my vote at times in my life. But never in my lifetime of 74 years have I been so afraid of my democracy with this man [former President Donald Trump] at the helm I can’t even mention his name.
My only prayer is the short time that I may have on this Earth that we never ever have a tyrant like Donald Trump as president of the United States. Please do whatever it takes for this man not to run for elections again.
