Steele T42 at the Fortinet

Brendan Steele posted a 6-under-par 70-71-72-69 — 282 at the Fortinet Championship in Truckee, California, on the PGA Tour last week to finish tied for 42nd place.


The Idyllwild native posted 15 birdies against seven bogeys and a double while belting drives averaging 313 yards into 44% of the fairways. He hit 72% of the greens in regulation, and he averaged gaining 1.44 strokes per day against the field with the putter.

Brendan now stands tied for 41st place in this new season’s FedExCup points list, and he currently is ranked 118th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
