Q. My daughter gave me a really nice sweater for my birthday. We’re having lunch at a fine restaurant later this week. How can I wear the sweater but keep from slopping on it during lunch? -Rudolph, Beaumont
A. When you get to the restaurant, put the sweater on inside out and backwards. Then reverse it again after lunch so the slop won’t show. Be sure to wear a shirt you don’t care about too much.
Q. I’m considering getting a cell phone holster that attaches to my belt, but which side of the belt should I put it on? -Johnny, Rancho Cucamonga
A. The outside. If you put it on the inside it tends to get caught in your undershorts. I tried it for a few weeks, and it was very uncomfortable.
