Weeks three and four of the Idyllwild Community Center Youth Soccer season brought many entertaining games, with the kids continuing to develop and improve their skills.
Week three kicked off on Thursday with The Blue Sharks overcoming The Kraken 2-1, followed with the undefeated Red Hawks making it past The Green Wolves in a 3-0 win.

The next day, The Blue Jays had a tight game but eventually succumbed to the Woodland Warriors 3-2, while the Blazers overcame the Strikers 3-2.
To wrap up the week, the Idyllwild Stars faced a tight game against The Storm, with the Idyllwild Stars coming out on top.
To get week four on the roll, with goals from Caleb Bischoff and Makai Githaiga and excellent defense from Brixton Berman and Mateo Whitmer, the Kraken were able to secure their first win over The Green Wolves, while Miles Seachrest and Augie Titus, along with the rest of the Red Hawks team, were able to continue their undefeated streak with a win against the Blue Sharks.
As we moved into Friday, The Blue Jays won a close game against the Strikers, while The Woodland Warriors were able to defeat the Blazers in a nail biting game.
The week wrapped up with The Storm and The Idyllwild Stars being tied 1-1 throughout the entire game, but with just a few minutes on the clock, the Idyllwild Stars snuck in a goal and claimed victory.
We will have one more week of regular season games, with playoffs taking place the week of Oct. 25.
