Well, it’s here, springtime, warm weather, flowers and outside activities; how wonderful.

I’ve lived in Idyllwild for 19 years and I love it up here, as everyone else I know does.

I shop up here, dine up here, and go to a lot of events up here.

One of my favorite things is going to Jo’An’s when the “Beer Garden” opens, which was April 27. There’s music and barbecue, and getting together with people I know and new people I meet.

Saturday was opening day and sadly to say, there were three phone calls complaining about the music being loud. I don’t get it.

The band was a really good Western group from Anza, which also brought more people up here.

This event and other music venues bring people to our mountain to dine, to shop and just enjoy “Idyllwild — the mountain known for music and art.”
