Duke

By Mimi & Hootch

Cooper, the chiweenie, felt cooped up and flew the coop! His journey brought him to ARF, where he won the hearts of a forever family in the blink of an eye. Paws up to you, Cooper.

Kensington, the beagle puppy, may have had a rough start last week, but is now leading the life of a king. Memories of being left in the dark, tethered to a fence with no food or water, are just that. Kensington hopes all ARF dogs find the dream family that he did.

Annie
Annie’s wish is to wiggle her way into someone’s arms. A young Chihuahua/min pin mix, her greatest love, after lap time, is running. Visit Annie at ARF and take a nice, long walk together. You just might find she’d be your perfect companion.
Gus, the young male Rottweiler, looks the part of a tough guy, but deep down he’s just a puppy searching for his home. Partial to females, he will lay at your feet or walk loyally by your side.
DukeDuke is a fawn-colored chow chow between 6 and 8 years of age. Duke prefers the company of people over other dogs and would do well in a single-dog home. However, he will tolerate the company of other canines, and stays very faithful to his human. He prefers your companionship throughout the day and night. Once acclimated to his surroundings, Duke will then understand that you will return. We are in desperate need of a foster or forever home for Duke. If you can help, please call ARF (951) 659-1122.

ARF has two kittens available for adoption. Dawn and Dusk will capture your heart and bring a smile. They won’t last long.

ARF has several cats and dogs available for adoption or fostering. Go to www.idyllwildarf.org and click on Petfinder. All pets are current on shots and are spayed or neutered.

ARF is open on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call for appointment on any other day at (951) 659-1122. Email and donation opportunities are at www.idyllwildarf.org or e-mail arf@greencafe.com.
