Sports: Basketball and cross country fund raiser

Cross-country runner Brooke Arnson (left) and father/coach Lee Arnson enjoy the spaghetti dinner the American Legion Post 800 hosted Saturday night to raise money for the cross-country team, the Mountain Lions. The teams are composed of children from fifth grade and up. Lee said the team needs money for jerseys and to fund bus travel to the meets in Temecula and Hemet.
