Isabella

By Mimi & Hooch

All you need is love. And Ringo, our gray tabby, will give a purr and meow to that. He found his forever home and the love of human companionship and care.

Leaves and sticks from the old oak tree were their toys. Home was under the beauty parlor building, amidst the cobwebs and dirt. Whatever “momma” could scrounge from the garbage cans was dinner. Inquisitively, their bright eyes would watch every move of the Animal Rescue Friends volunteers who were trying to help them. As each day passed, they became less fearful of the ARF humans, until finally they came out of the crawlspace and into our arms. Dawn and Dusk are now living in a cattery that they once only dared to dream about. Brother and sister now play like kittens with all of the other ARF residents. They are about 5 months old and would like to stay together when they find their forever home.

Isabella
Isabella is our newest diva in the ARF cattery. She is a petite 3-year-old, beautiful tri-colored calico. Isabella grew up as an only child and is wondering why she has so many littermates now. A true lover of all humans, Isabella would like to find her new home, and be the only diva again.
Rusty
Rusty and Shorty have lost their human, but not their hope that they will soon find a new home. Friendly, adult male orange tabbies, they would be happy together or in separate homes.
Shorty
Opie is an adult male Maine coon mix. Most days are spent stretched out in the sun, but he always welcomes some attention to his soft, silky fur.

Hobo Joe, the Aussie mix; Gus, the young Rottweiler; and Duke, the chow chow, are also available for adoption or fostering. Call ARF at (951) 659-1122 to set up an appointment or come by on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

ARF has several other cats and dogs ready for new homes. Go to www.idyllwildarf.org and click on Petfinder. Email arf@greencafe.com.
