A structure fire on Sylvan Way was reported at 12:13 p.m. Sunday, June 27. Station 23 was first on scene. Idyllwild Fire also responded. More information will be provided in the July 1 edition.

Flats Fire update
As of Monday morning, June 21, the Flats Fire in the Santa Rosa mountains is 100% contained.The fire that began at about 11:15 a.m. Sunday, June 20, in at the Pinyon transfer station, destroyed two dwellings, damaged three other dwellings and three outbuildings, and burned 341 acres.Cause of the fire is still under investigation.
