Town Hall Sports Coordinator Jeremy Teeguarden reported on Town Hall Adult volleyball for the week of Jan. 9.

On Monday, Idyllwild Chevron took on Pacific Slope. Idyllwild Chevron played great as a team all match. Shaunna and Justin Lehr played great for Chevron and Matt Boss had some big hits for Slope. Chevron went on to win in three games: 25-12, 25-21, and 25-23.

Tuesday night’s volleyball game pitted the Idyllwild Inn and Pacific Slope. Idyllwild Inn won the first two games as Dan Hitchcock played great. Slope played tough winning game three and forced a fourth game as Ginger Dagnall was all over the court. Idyllwild Inn regained its momentum and won the match in four games: 25-14, 25-22, 19-25 and 25-10.

Wednesday night’s volleyball game saw Idyllwild Garage and Forest Lumber. Spectators filled the gym to watch the match. Kyle Owen had the big early hits as Idyllwild Garage quickly won the first two games. Forest Lumber found its groove and won the third game behind Buddie Beagle’s key blocks. The Garage came back to win game four and the match. (25-16, 25-7, 22-25 and 25-15)

On Thursday night, Silver Pines faced Idyllwild Chevron, who won the first two games. Chevron’s Brian Wilson was all over the court. Chris Fogle led Silver Pines come back, winning the next two games. Chevron triumphed in the fifth game and wone the match: 25-19, 25-22, 16-25, 23-25 and 15-10.
