Town Hall Sports Coordinator Jeremy Teeguarden reported on Town Hall Adult softball for the week of July 23.

 

On Monday, July 23, Creekstone Inn took on Café Aroma. Edgar Santiago had a great game scoring three runs for Café Aroma. Creekstone Inn took control of the game in the third inning. Rachel Teeguarden and Kelly Cochrane got key hits as Creekstone scored seven runs in the inning and went on to a decisive 14-8 victory.

Tuesday’s first game was between team Patty Perez and Forest Lumber. Forest Lumber got off to a great start as Buddy Beagle hit a homerun in the first inning. Lupita Montoya played great for Perez scoring three runs and playing good defense. Forest Lumber scored six runs in their last at-bat to take control of the game and win 18-12.

Forest Lumber played a doubleheader Tuesday, meeting Café Aroma in the second game. Marty Prevosto hit great for Forest Lumber scoring three runs. Julie Fogle played great for Café Aroma scoring two runs and getting on base four times. Although Café Aroma scored four times in their last at-bat, it wasn’t enough to over come Forest Lumber’s lead. The final score was 10-7 and a Forest Lumber win.

On Wednesday, July 25, Pacific Slope Tree Company took on team Patty Perez. Rudolfo Rincan had three hits for team Perez. Jody Posey stayed hot as he scored two runs and got on base three times to lead Pacific Slope to an 11-4 win.
