DUI suspected in Mountain Center crash
According to CHP Officer Chris Blondon, Friday afternoon about 5 p.m., Timothy Jay Lund, 19, of Hemet was traveling southbound on Highway 243 near Mile Marker 0.25 when he lost control flipping his Mercedes-Benz 560 SEL, landing on it’s roof tossing beer cans and other debris onto the highway. Three passengers were also in the vehicle. The 17-year-old female was transported to a nearby hospital complaining of neck pain.

Hemet USD Thanksgiving/winter break closures
Hemet Unified School District offices and school sites will be closed during the week of Thanksgiving from Monday, Nov. 24 to Friday, Nov. 28. In December, HUSD offices will be closed from Monday, Dec. 22 to Friday, Jan. 2, 2015.
