The Riverside County Office of Emergency Services awarded a plaque to Idyllwild’s Bill Baker in honor of all the work and dedication he has given to RACES. The wording on it says, “The time and dedication you have given in selflessly serving our Mountain community will never be forgotten. You have educated many and paved the way for others to follow in your footsteps. You are a true mentor who leads by example. You are an icon to us on the Mountain.”

A new ATM has been installed in the Idyllwild branch BBVA Compass bank building in Idyllwild, replacing the Bank of America ATM previously in the same location. BBVA Branch Manager Jeri Sue Haney confirmed the new ATM was installed during the first week of November. “It makes it so much easier for us,” she said….
