Town Hall Sports Coordinator Jeremy Teeguarden reported on Town Hall Adult volleyball for the week of Feb. 11.
On Monday, Feb. 11, the match was between the league’s top two teams — Silver Pines Lodge and Idyllwild Garage. Each game was close as the teams battled the whole match. Silver Pines took the first two games as Chris Fogle had a bunch of great sets to his teammates. Idyllwild Garage came back to win game three behind Kyle Owen, who led the way with big hits. Silver Pines bounced back to win game four and the match. The game scores were 25-20, 26-24, 20-25, and 27-25.
On Tuesday, Forest Lumber and Idyllwild Inn played. Each game was up for grabs as both teams played great. Idyllwild Inn took the first game as Todd Stepien played great at the net. Matt Cox helped lead Forest Lumber to a win in the second game as he went on a long service run. Idyllwild Inn won the next two games and the match in four games (25-20, 24-26, 25-20 and 27-25).
