Jayden Emerson of Idyllwild and a Hemet High School senior ran in the Bulldog Invitational run Saturday at the Diamond Valley Lake cross country course. Jayden’s time was 15:29.6. He was second in a field of 137 runners. Teammates Tanner Torrez (behind Jayden in photo), former Idyllwild resident, was fourth and Chad Schelly of Idyllwild was 30th. The Hemet High team was second out of 15 teams in the boys race.
