Brendan Steele had a rough Deutsche Bank Championship last week, posting a 6-over-par 70-71-74-75 -- 290.
The Idyllwild native's driving was off; he found only 55 percent of the fairways. He hit only 68 percent of the greens in regulation and gave away strokes to the field putting as well.
Brendan picked up a mere 4 FedExCup points and dropped from 46th to 54th place on that list. He likely will need at least a top-4 finish in this week's BMW Championship to earn enough points to advance to the Tour Championship two weeks from now.
His first and second round tee times will be available here some time Tuesday afternoon.
