Brendan Steele posted a 10-under-par 69-69-67-73 — 278 at the CIMB Classic in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, last week. He played well, posting 14 birdies against only four bogeys, but many others also played well, and Brendan had to settle for a tie for 26th place.

The Idyllwild native picked up 33 FedExCup points in Malaysia. As a result of his win in Napa two weeks ago, he now stands 2nd on the FedExCup points list with 533 points after two tournaments played. He currently is ranked 58th in the Official World Golf Ranking.
