UPDATE: Brendan Steele finished the first round of The Players Championship with a 3-under-par 69 which put him in a tie for seventh place only 2 shots off the lead going into tomorrow's round 2.
The Idyllwild native tees off tomorrow, Friday, at 10:19 a.m. PDT.
