Brendan Steele will tee it up this Thursday in the $6.3 million Sentry Tournament of Champions in Kapalua, Maui, Hawaii. He gained entry into the TOC by winning the Safeway Open in Napa at the start of this PGA Tour season. Last year, Brendan tied for 6th place in the TOC in Hawaii.

In this young PGA Tour season, the Idyllwild native goes into this week’s tournament in 4th place on the FedExCup points list and in 45th place on the Official World Golf Ranking, both of which are important to determining eligibility to play in the majors and in other prestigious PGA Tour tournaments during the year.

B’s tee time for Thursday is 1:10 p.m. PST but Friday is yet to be determined.
