Brendan Steele posted an even-par 74-69-69-68 — 280 last week in the BMW Championship, which was good for only 63rd place on the relatively tame Aronimink Golf Club course at Newton Square, Pennsylvania, closing out his 2017-18 PGA Tour season.

The native Idyllwilder finished the season 56th on the FedExCup points list and 77th on the Official World Golf Ranking.

Brendan’s best performances this season were a first at the Safeway Open and a tie for third at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Playing in only 22 official tournaments, he posted seven top-20s, including three top-10s. He experienced six missed cuts. He earned more than $2.2 million in official earnings this season, bringing his career total to more than $14 million in eight PGA Tour seasons.

Brendan is expected to begin the 2018-19 season in only three weeks in Napa by defending his Safeway Open title, seeking his third-consecutive win in that tournament.
